Salvy and I have been working on getting Daedalus working on the newly release Total Noob Homebrew Enabler (HEN)

It turns out that the higher 32MB of ram avaliable (of the 64 mb total) does not work on the PSP 3000 / GO or PSP's with higher firmware respectively.

I have attached a build with everything required to start in this thread.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Wally

Just so you, and everyone else knows, it's the DaedalusX64 TEAM, not just one individual that works hard on this project.

Thanks for your great work and I'm sorry for my little question.
I try it on my PSPgo, but PSPgo don't have Home button.
Can I see "Pause menu" ?

I'm sorry for my bad english because I'm Japanese.

Thanks for the log, did it happen in game? a savestate before the crash should be better to help debug the crash.

I haven't tried this build, just helped Wally getting it going, make sure kernelbuttons.prx has been deleted, and (hopefully) you should be able to use Select button.
Anyways I corrected a couple of bugs that were reported on the go, I'll be merging them into the dx64 branch maybe tomorrow.

Yes make sure not to quit while the emulation is happening, that;s the main reasons kernelbuttons.prx was added but since it doesn't work on HEN, we can't avoid that. What you can do is return to the rom selector and exit from there.

It happens at different times, the one time it loads till the intro of the game, the other time right after i loaded the rom.
ill try a savestate

Just found another crash! i get a bluescreen, while scrolling left and right in the menu right after i opened Daedalus, didn't even open a rom.
can't do anything else then sending you a new log again, here it goes:

I tried that and it still does the same thing, even when i load up the emulator without selecting a rom and try to pause/quit.

Try using the "classic" ROM menu in "global options", it should be safer

Any chance for 1000 series support on this? I know 3000 and go are in the title, but if it is supported anyway I'm getting crashes on just starting daedalus.

You mean PSP Phat? or N1000 model aka PSP Go?
If you mean PSP Phat just use the normal versions of Dx64.

Is easy, just press home or select, and choose "Save State".
You could check readme.txt which comes comes with Daedalus, pretty much explains most features and other useful info.

So it turns out in order to run anything with TN Hen on a 1000 phat PSP you have to:
1. Load TN Hen
2. Once TN Hen is loaded and the XMB appears pop out your memery card.
3. press select and restart the vsh.
4. Reinsert the memory card and then load software.

This will need to be done each time you want to load different software.

Lastly I was only able to get the modified DaedalusX64 from this page to work. The R625 release crashed and had a flickering problem with the main menu.
