Salv-E, I'm curious to know if there has been any more word on how far COP1 has been completed since then? I already searched the forum for COP1 and this was the most recent one made by you.
I'm wanting to know mostly so I can try it out.

I'm pretty sure the interpreter was already optimized, including COP1.

That thread was never meant to be public (reason you need to be tester or higher to see that thread).
Yes I was working in new interpreter (safe but slower of course, since our current interpreter is done for speed and not accuracy), idea was to help us track bugs and for users who prefer stability vs speed.

My main motive was to help me fix some core problems in Conker and Animal Crossing, which I fixed when working in the new interpreter
