Hi since most updates have been underground, I would like to make an update here since no new update has been posted for a while.
Finally after debugging our othermodes I was able to fix one of the most annoying bugs on Daedalus, and as well to improve look overall of all N64 games emulated by Daedalus, now we should be surpassing POPS in some scenaries : )

Pictures are more than words right? ...
Let's start :

First 007 :

Currently on Daedalus :

Nah let's go with our 2D games that hate our fullscreen mode...

Update 01-15-10
After several hrs of debugging I could finally get rid off all black spots, since my first tried only removed the spots on 007...
Now with the latest changes 007 looks even better, small and white spots are gone, and also the main menu doesn't flash any more : )
I'll just post the games with the black spot removaled fix, I'm pretty sure ppl already how how they normally looked.
Also spots on Banjo seemed gone.

THPS2 :

As you can see those annoying spots are gone, but as well the overall looks shaper and clean.

Wow! Looks fantastic dude!

Does the spot removal also refer to the spots seen in Banjo Kazooie textures?

Very nice, finally those black spots in the textures are a thing of the past (hopefully it effects all games). One thing i did notice is that in the second screen on the first game the cabnet has thos white spots (the ones that will change colors) would those spots be simular to the isssue that was causing the black spots.

This is definitely a step in the right direction. way to go salvy, keep up the great work. Now i only hope that kreations can find out what causes the speed up glitch so we can use it to our advantage.

Great Work! ;D

Do you plan on commiting this soon then, or do you still need to clean up some code for it?

Wow, so those specks are gone then? If I'm right in thinking that'll affect tonnes of games/graphical errors. How on earth did you manage it? :o

I'm planning on committing it this week hopefully, I'm just debugging several games with it and and see it doesn't brake anything : P

Try Shadowman Salvy, as that suffered from the dots problem throughout. ;)
