I can live with it of course and technically it's nice, but not practical at all to me. I prefer the old one.
Bye;) To tell you the truth I've had my share of problems with it, however i like the big preview pics. I think it would be easier if he put in the skip to next lettet option that it had.

when it comes down to info vs previews, i vote info sorry i do like the look though. i think a hybrid between the old and new UIs would be best if they work together: the right and left D-pad keys last functioned to scroll up or down by 3 or 4 per press, which now do the same thing as L and R. So, if we keep the old layout, but keep the new theme, and because of the fast-scrolling already being available via joystick, change the D-pad left key to move left and highlight the preview expanding it to show more detail, while still allowing scrolling via joystick, and D-pad right key to return to rom browsing and shrink previews back down. simple and effective

I will be adding scroll by letter back in via holding circle then pressing left or right.

Would it be possible to go from say rom 40 winks to yoshi, because as the list always starts at the beginning, you should be able to scroll the list left as well to get to yoshi rom, if you see what i mean (ZYXW etc), also have you managed to track down the bug, when a rom is not on the Roms.ini file, then it tries to print info that is not available, by way of 2 lines of writing overlaying each other.

MetalMeltdown wrote: I like it but I wouldn't mind seeing a more polished Better looking more interesting GUI. A lot of effort went into this GUI, and all you can bring yourself to do is insult it by saying you want something better? Make suggestions for things you'd like to be changed. Don't simply say it isn't good enough, and expect people to make a new one which you think is "more polished (b)etter looking (and) more interesting". I'm sorry for the corrections, but I feel that if a person wants to insult someone else's work they should at least make sure that they use correct grammar while doing so.

I like the new gui, there are only a few things I'd like to see changed : 1. Less delay between choosing the rom. 2. Having the text fit completely on the screen, I don't like the half on half off. 3. Ability to change the background to the color of choice. ( black seems boring ).
Anyway, I think it's a great gui yamagushi. I appreciate your hardwork.
