have u guys ever thot of making a emulator for each rom so when u make fixes in games it wont effect others. it would seem like it would take longer but when u think about it ur allready trying to fix most of them so this might result to less work. so u wont run into issues like making a game more compatible but some error or something happend and it makes another rom less compatible.

yeah would be good except for 2 things

- 1 - It would take up way to much memory on my PSP, as i have a lot N64 games on my PSP.

- 2 - It would be far too much time consuming for developers.

^ but hey thats just my opinion. it would be good though.

You will not have to wait much longer as when Kreationz fixes the Async bug, it will produce a speed up of the emulator overall, so in theory, Zelda OoT & other games will run full speed.

Maintaining several versions on the emulator specialized in specific games will be a beast to consume our time and slow down development progress.
Daedalus is open source, anyone can make their own specific versions.

Fixing async audio as what Kreationz wants to do is to make it more stable, avoid crashes, async bug etc, it won't bring any speed up.

I think what he meant was utilizing the speed-up from the Async bug which we should be able to do eventually.
