Hey Daedalusx64, ok I just got a idea some people don't care that much for speed. Why not putting for the next rev a quality option
Ex: Quality= Low or Medium or High or BEST.

Low: For people that game is very fast or that cares about the speed. :(

Medium: For people that wants both fast and normal quality (average).:-[

High: For people that likes good quality gaming. :)

Best: For people that don't care about the speed and likes games with full quality and high resolution. :D

If you're wondering why I'm asking you. Is that when you put the resolution of the screen (explaination down)

4:3 unscaled (320x240) Equal: Medium Quality
4:3 scaled or Fullscreen Equal: Low Quality

So I do not want a little screen gaming.
Please Daedalusx64, you can't say it's impossible to do this. :-[

Its the CPU emulation that eats most time and not the rendering.
You can "skip (rendering) frames" (auto 1) as an option and that will speed up the games a bit in some cases...

No it's not the speed it's the quality. Even it's slow, I still want good quality.

What do you mean quality?
The only option that can improve the "quality" of textures is "Force Linear Filter" which is done in hardware and won't slow you don't at all.

They quality is no worse than original N64 so I don't see your point?
We can't add texture packs since we don't have memory for it or want to slow down the emulator...
If you want a little better quality press (0) button while DaedalusX64 boots and you'll get 32bit color mode which is only recommended if you have SLIM or later models.
If you use this mode don't bother to report bugs since it not supported!

I could explain you guys better, if I don't know how to do a screenshot. Well I could explain you better. I even tried:

(Memory Card) F:/Photo and F:/PSP/Photo

Oh now I see my problem. The filtering in Super Mario 64 is not that good when putting to fullscreen. When you put the resolution to fullscreen, see in the top of the game where it shows your stat (Star and Lives) you could see that it's really bad quality or it's bad filtering screen when making the game in fullscreen.

Well, its not the filtering that is bad, just that SM64 textures that had such low resolution (and N64 in general). The game and hardware is 15 years old after all and it was very good at the time so don't try to compare it with todays hardware, just enjoy the old-school gaming experience. If you want better than N64 quality then I suggest you boot up a PC emulator there they can afford to make some tricks to make it look better...

Well in Fullscreen mode you are scaling the game from its original resolution (320x240) to 480x272..

Secondly if you make the quality low the game will became faster.

But I recommand, that you could put a codec plugin that can make better texture look. But may slow down game, but still better quality texture.

there used to be an option were you could change the quality of the game. but the daedalus team is awesome enough to make it so that the textures/colors/quality no longer effect the speed. end of story. and theirs nothing rong with the texures. its like the normal n64 it might look crappy cus the games are old or because n64 games resolution arnt made for a wide screen like the psps.

and about that codec engine thing... ya blah blah blah... force linear filter does that. on the menu with all the roms press L and that will bring you to globel settings, and you will see the option change it to yes and then bam! it doesnt get any better then that.
