I hear 6.60 PRO B10 is the latest CFW for the PSP, and it can run PSN downloaded games if I am not mistaken. It has been a long time since I went from OFW to 5.50 Gen D3, probably about 4 years or so. I dont remember a thing about changing Firmware. I do remember using Hellcats recovery. I also didn't need a Pandora Battery it had something to do with installing ChickHEN first then switching to 5.50 GEN D3.

What do I do with the other two folders? Just copy them all over?

I tried the Update one and it says "Sorry this program does not support your FW"

Can I still run all of my home brew games and ISOs on it?

HELLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????????? WHY IS THIS PLACE SO DAMN DEAD!!!!!!!?

First you need to actualize your FW or the Hack don't work and for that:
1. Go to "Settings" then to the first option "System Update" (If you have hacked your PSP please take of the hack and then do this)
2. Clic "X" then "Update via Internet"
3. Select the Connection of your house
3. Then wait that confirm that there is a new FW
4. Select "Download"
5. Then when it's finished just select "Actualize Now" (FOR THIS YOU NEED TO HAVE AT LEAST 80% OF THE BATTERY CHARGED)
6. When the actualization finish then use the Hack 6.60 PRO-B10 (It's the most recent) Here Direct Link --> http://procfw.googlecode.com/files/660PRO-B10.fix1.rar
7. When you download the file unrar it
8. Put the files that are in the folder "GAME" onto your PSP "GAME" folder....
9. BUT JUST put the files "PROUPDATE" and "Fast Recovery"
10. then run "PROUPDATE" and that's all YOU HAVE THE PSP HACKED :D
11. I recommend you to run "Fast Recovery" too.... this help for recover faster the Hack (Example: If you PSP shut off fully, don't in suspend mode!! the hack desapear so for that's it's "Fast Recovery")

--> ONLY FOR PSP 1000 and 2000 WITHOUT PLATE(?) Ta-88 V3 and the newest (PSP 3000/GO)
If you want to do it permanently just put the "Cipl" folder to the "GAME" folder and run it
AND FINALLY YOU HAVE THE PSP HACKED!! :D

PD: I hope this help :), O AND SO SORRY FOR THE REALLY BAD ENGLISH AND SPEALING ERRORS, But I'm from Latin America(El Salvador) so that's why I'm not so good in English jeje Sorry :(

Thankyou, how do I remove the old firmware?

I tried reverting it to ofw by running the 5.50 gen d3 but it just stayed 5.50 GEN D3.

Sorry am I just this stupid or are you just not explaining enough. What regular installer? What does the L stand for? If you are talking about the 6.60 Pro B 10 installer, that has already been covered I already tried and it said "Sorry this program does not support your FW". I tried using Hellcats recovery to change it back to OFW and it had an error using 500.pbp.

O I forgot it.....
See the vertion you have in your PSP if say 5.50 GEN-D3 or 9.90(<--Fake)
If say 5.50 GEN-D3 just download the update like I said....
1. Go to Settings
2. Then the First option "Update"
3. Select "Update via Internet"
4. Accept(If ask...I don't remmenber)
5. Wait that the download finish
6. Select "Update now" (You need have 80% of the battery charged)
7. Wait....
8. When the update finalized the PSP will Reboot and then see the FW you have.... if says 6.60 CONGRATULATIONS!! you now can Hack your PSP with the method I said....
WARNING: THIS ONLY WORK IF YOU PSP SAY 5.50 GEN-D3..... IF SAY 9.90 TELL ME AND I WILL LOOK WHAT TO DO FOR THAT

well that pro b10 you need to already be on 6.60 and the installers just patch the firmware so yeah just to make it easy just run this 6.39 or 6.60 me installer since its more permanent imho

i dont have anything against pro but id rather have a full installer

im still on 6.39 since i dont see any real point in upgrading so whatever its your choice

I just get "The system software of your psp system is version 9.90. There is no need to update." Message. Leading me to believe removing GEN D3 first would just make this process easier.
