No there isn't. The only reason why it's called "modded" is the source was changed to include more background colors. I added more colors mostly because I wanted some darker ones compared to what's available in vanilla.
The other bonus to modded is that I've thrown in my own controller configs for certain games. The same controller configs are also available in the DaedalusX64 FAQ for vanilla users.
