Not sure if this is the rite place to post this(im new to the site but love this emulator)
As reported Goldeneye on my psp(slim 5.00 m33 REV 452)is running at a speed i havnt seen on this emulator,i think its a glitch(like the Mario one)When i upgraded to 459 the speed had gone,so went back to 452.
Give me feedback,if iv up loaded it wrong.

I think it happened with the changes Kreationz did on rev449
http://daedalusx64.svn.sourceforge.net/ ... vision=449

Some games it caused to speed up like crazy for example Earthworm Jim.
He reverted those changes on 457, it made some games like Quake severely slow (that's the reason the speed up you saw is gone)

Note : Is really helpful if you add a note saying for which rom is it for example U or E?

GoldenEye (E)(!)
So is this something that can be implemented in later revisons or just, random glitch?

I believe he will re-implement the changes but it would be when he finds a way to do it without slowing down some games.

Cool, although its good to play it nearly full speed,im guessing thats why the sound is really choppy, like both video and sound running out of sync.

Async is generally better due to it not using the CPU to emulate sound, so more of the resources are dedicated to everything else, but some people prefer Sync due to it syncing better with the video. Just letting you know the difference if you already didn't.

I was basically forcing the N64 to a 20Hz refresh rate trying to get it to process certain parts less often, but my code had some major bugs. I still plan to experiment with this to make full use of it. As well as a few other tricks PC emulators have been trying.

Just bumping to say the super speed regression was caused on rev 432.

Hey hey,Rite iv now deleated Rev 452 on my psp because the newest Rev (477) Goldeneye is now at the same speed as when the Async bug was working.(even getting sound, although if u turn the music off its better).
