Hello, I'm a programmer and I think I can help in the development and bug fixes.

Where can I see the source code?
Is there any documentation? (about microprocessor instructions, N64 architecture and so).

You can use google to find info about N64 programming manual or info about the MIPS R4300i CPU. Lots of info is also in the source code.

I forget whether or not it is legal, but there are N64 programming manuals somewhere on the internet that contain a vast amount of information about the n64.

I've actually got one of those manuals. It isn't legal to share them(or even own them) as far as I know.
