Since I heard that people could apply for it, I figured, why not.

For experience (and to make this post a little longer ), I have been an administrator/moderator on a few forums in the past, and I'm also an op on several irc channels as well. I didn't think I did that bad of a job while I was op (although I'm sure a few will disagree, but they can voice why in this thread). I would take my job as an official op more seriously, that means no joke kicking, etc, etc.

This is your first forum post?..Damn. Well I consider you one of the best ops we've ever had. You joke around but not so much that it effects your responsibilities as a op. You do your job good and your not this emotionless terminator that everybody hates. So the point is, your well deserved being a op.

He's an IRC member, so you wouldnt know him. He's been around for a few weeks, and is an alright guy.

This is being discussed by the staff, but I'd like to hear our IRC regulars opinion on this. (PM me if you don't want your comments public.)
