What Wally and Kreationz are trying to say is, shape up, use proper grammar, and actually do the work. If you test games, give results, and are genuinely helpful, you'll be awarded tester's status. But saying that you'll only test games you like and that you've used a couple emulators in your life time really doesn't help the cause, especially when you don't have many results to show. Anyways, good luck with this.

thats kinda what i said i was explaining why i cant.

hi, i've only one post here, so i don't expect to be chosen to be a tester.
Anyway, i'm interested in emulation and in Daedalus since StrmnNrmn's first release, i've tested various Rev with many games.
I've got a psp since the launch(except for a period-approximatevly between the ofw 3.30 and 5.00)
Now I'm writing a compatibility list-in italian-of the last Update3 here http://www.gopsp.it/index.php?showtopic=7341 , trying to have the best performance and the needed settings.
In that site i've written many tutorials about Ps1 and general emulation on PSP, how to install a CF, ecc...
I forgot, i've no skills in developing, i can't even compile a source code.

So, i've no particular skills,i'm a "follower" in this forum but not active, i've just a Psp1000(at the moment CF6.38ME2) and i'm interested in Psp Hacking and emulator.
If you consider the link to the site in which i'm a newser, spam, then feel free to edit it immediatly

I know that this is my first post, but i have most of the requirements, for example:

-I know how to code in C and Java
-I have lots of free time, therefore i can post lots of test results
-I have experience in some of the best emulators like PCSX2, Project 64,NO$GBA,etc...
-I actually love to play N64,reminds me of my childhood :)
-I can constantly update the compatibility list
-I am a good tester with proof(I helped ColdBird with his 6.XX Pro-B5 bug)
-I spend alot of time online(about 7 to 12 hour/day)

I hope that those are enough reasons to be approved to become one of the best

Edit by Dougamer:

You don't need to repost what you've already posted in a seperate thread, the reason you didn't see the first time you posted this message was because it had to be approved (For under 10 posts I think it is).

I'd like to be a tester. Although I haven't worked with PSP emulation before I know what's to be expected. I have experience in testing GBA games with hex viewers, adding scripts, and at times squashing bugs. I know a little C++. As far as emulation goes, I will admit I am being a bit selfish for wanting to join. Even though I would like the Emulator to improve alot I am most concerned on making sure OoT and MM runs well. With that guiding me and giving me an incentive I'm sure I can help improve the emulator as an whole.

The best way to become a Tester is by actually testing. Test games and post bugs and new findings (look around the forum first to avoid reporting known bugs). Helping other members when you can is also important, as it demonstrates a good attitude and can make a difference when considering a candidate. Once you get to the actual testing, then your application will be considered. Good luck and thanks for applying :)

Same goes for everyone else, actual testing is what differentiates testers from people who just want the position.

Yes, Tester status is earned by people who test. You do not need it to test, and it is only a title. So, post some findings, update the compatibility list, help people, submit blends. Even if it is only for OOT and MM, that's fine. There's a lot of bugs in those games. The only bugs that get fixed are those that are known. If you want, you can join myself, other testers, and the devs on our IRC channel, #daedalusx64 on the freenode network.

I have a psp, dsi, ds, ipod, and a nintendo gamecube. The psp and ipod are hacked. I've heard of deadalusX64 and decided to check it out. I have then since kept up to date with the newest version. I would like to be a tester to help out with the emulator and help make it the best emulator out there. You guys are unlike other emulator posters. They just post one update of the emulator and them leave it at that and never try to make it better. The psp has the most potential with the 64 emulator since it is portable and is usually up to date. I have had a lot of experience with emus over the years. To me deadalus is the best considering that it not only brings the classics back but also allows the player to take it anywhere they like. I have a few games on the emulator but will add a list if I am required to. Computers is my thing and I have grown up in the techno world. So I have a lot of experience. The only reason that I'm applying for a tester instead of a higher point is that I don't know how to program anything. If I was shown I could maybe pick it up. The games I have run smoothly but when you turn it off the power light on the psp never stops blinking. I would like to be on the team but if I'm not then I understand that I don't meet your requirements. My psp is a 3000 model running 6.39 lme/pro. One last thing before I end this is that when you look at the old games they may have bad graphics but are better than what we have now in some ways. ???
