After a day long bug hunt for the missing heart it has been found! Something is wrong with the model view matrix and the heart gets rendered in the wrong place... I forced it to render in the middle screen to see that the rest of the rendering work fine. This will still take some time to fix but at least the reason why it didn't show up has been found
