 Post subject: diddy kong racing

as i've posted here , the game works well viewtopic.php?f=78&t=3555#wrapheader

Problems: no ballon, no bananas, and the item which you've is not shown,like the arrow that indicates your speed, and the option in all the menu isn't highlted.
Is it possible to correct this graphic glitch?

It's a prefered standard to include screens with any graphical problems. If you didn't know already you can take screenshots via the daedalus home menu.

In this case I was refering to "maybe its fixable"
I have it sort of fixed but not sure if I can get 100% correct.

Great work, now there seems to be no more those graphical glitches.

great, in this last Rev i think there're good improvement in term of Fps in some games, but i've to test more ;)

diddy kong racing and 733: things which became visible in 729 (bananas, the indicator left/right near a turn, the map, your weapon when you get one), are now still there but they're too little(tiny size)

yeah the sprites are not 100%, its a trade off between many things and this will have to do. Its very playable now and the scaling is abit smaller wont hurt to much I think.

733: too small!!!
It was better in 729 i think, but a middle size should be perfect...

I know the issues...
Before the sprites orientation was faulty, at some points you saw then paper thin also the balloons popped up from nowhere instead of growing up to full size. In addition the start screen when choosing character sprites covered the screen so it was hard to make out what was chosen.
So like I said its a hack and compromise to make things work and most importantly the sprites always faces the screen so it wont be changed back.
Perhaps if I get some time and feel like it I will see if I can improve on it overall..
