He means to take a savestate in the actual emulator itself, return back to the emulator before the crash occurs and make a savestate, send that to this forum & the developers will take a look for you.
As for the cursor not moving, on game menu screen's press 'O' and the dpad direction to move about, that will give you movement in the menu's, but as you said did freeze starting a match, on default settings, pressed 'Home' button on PSP, pressed 'X' on edit preferences, scroll down to High Level Emulation, change to Disabled, then Save & Return, click on Resume Emulation and that stopped the crashes, now in game battling, apart from a few graphics not looking correct, game plays pretty good.......Enjoy
