I honestly dont know a whole lot about emulationm and I know the psp's cpu is poor but I was wondering if graphics were reduced maybe games would go faster. Compare this to Dolphin emu, make new settings like disable material lighting, EFB Copies disable it or something idk but anything I think of im sure has already been thought of by somebody else but never done. I believe if graphics were reduced you would see a little faster emulation.

I believe if graphics were reduced you would see a little faster emulation. The setting "skip frames" does just that, eg. skips rendering an entire frame... you can't skip more then that when it comes to rendering, yet this only gives a moderate speed up on the games that already runs fast. The reason is that rendering is already pretty fast and slow games usually bog down the CPU emulation rather than the rendering, so speeding up rendering does not really help all that much.

I thought I knew alot about psp's but yall got me beat. I guess the psp isn't powerful enough to reach full speed on alot of games, it would be crazy if sony and nintendo joined forces.

That's what they said about Sega, but Sony likely isn't ever going to pull out of the race. The Wii U looks a lot like the Dreamcast to me though, but once the 3DS has good games out I think it may keep Nintendo afloat.

Im sure somebody will hack the ps vita and make it to where you can overclock it so 400mhz should be enough to run n64 games?

The N64's cpu is 93.75Mhz I thought you only need a cpu atleast 4 times more powerful than the system your trying to emulate.
