I really think you guys should try to fix the sound because... well always when I have it enabled the game lags alot and is very slow

The sould will only work as fast as the overall emulation of the rom. If you're not using a rom that has full speed you'll get really bad sound. Try using sound only on games that run near or at full speed. Super Mario 64 is the best rom so far for sound.
