Okay, I'll explain everything, as to not leave anything out. I have a PSP 2000 running on CF 5.03 Gen-C. At the moment, I have gb-SP running on it perfectly, so... Anyways, I downloaded REV. 707 originally, and added all the correct files into my Game folder. I loaded it on my PSP successfully. I then loaded Super Mario 64 (.z64). Everything is working properly. But there's no sound. Now, I used to have a modded PSP-2000 years ago, and I remember that Super Mario 64's gameplay worked perfectly on the Daedalus emulator I had then, but that the sound was kind of glitchy, so I decided to test if the sound was still glitchy with this release. When I enabled sound, the entire emulator froze and crashed. I had to reboot my PSP, and when I did, and returned back to the emulator, I got this message, "The game cannot be started. The data is corrupted." Odd, but okay. I went back into my GAME folder, and removed the Daedalus folder. Dragged a copy of it over. Got the same message. What? Yeah, didn't make sense to me either. But it gets even weirder. I next installed DaedalusX64 747. Completely new one. Got the same error message for every single package. Yet gb-SP works, so it's not a corruption with the PSP itself. And everytime, I clear Daedelus out to reinstall it. No residue of it is in my Root fold. Absolutely mind :3 me. Makes absolutely no sense, and I'm struggling to understand wtf happened. Any help?

I just tried adding a Snes emulator onto it, and I got the same error message... Okay, I think something about your file corrupted my PSP. I'm going to try formatting my memory stick, and re-doing everything. Sucks...

Update: I managed to reset everything, and I'm successfully able to add SNES and other stuff like that onto the PSP. I'm going to try one more time, but this time, with your most recent release. If this doesn't work, I'll have to re-format, but alas, won't be able to play any N64 games :( I'll update again if it works or not.

Update 2: It works, but I'm afraid to activate audio. I'll refrain from that until someone experienced comes in and is able to give some insight to this anomaly. I guess sound wouldn't actually matter if it's still glitchy. If someone could even answer that, then I'd never even need to enable it again.

Update 3: Okay, wtf? lol, after adding Conker's Bad Fur Day, everything became corrupted... Uhm... Is there something I'm missing here? Alright...

Update 4: So I tried installing it again, and I got a blue screen saying it crashed. Something about Daedalus doesn't match up with my PSP. I don't know what... Do I need a different firmware? Or...? Idk. At this point, I'm going to refrain from installing another version of this program on the PSP. I would be grateful for any insight. I'm assuming it's that my CF doesn't match up with the program.

Upgrade your Custom Firmware to 6.60 ME 1.6 latest, also there is a PRO version of 6.60 out there as well, Google them to find them, i use 6.60 ME 1.6, has never given me any problems with any emulators or homebrew, i use a phat(fat) 1003 mind you, and i did get a lot of BSOD's but that was due to the lack of system ram on the Phat's, your slim will not have that problem.

Good Luck :)

If it didn't, I wouldn't be able to run Daedalus on my phat psp. It uses 5.xx

I dev on a PHAT running 5.0 M33-6 and a Slim 5.55 GEN-D3..
Are we getting offtopc? :P

Back to topic: It seems an issue with your MS? maybe is fake?
Also enabling async audio while the emulation has started is really risky, no surprise it crashed, but shouldn't corrupt anything, like I said seems like your MS is faulty or fake.
