It seems that the dynamic stack optimization and dynamic recompilation are giving it the crash. With either ONE disabled, you can skip past the crash. I tested on Slim 5.50 prometheus-4

I know that, but I'm just stating what I think is why it's not working

Salv-E wrote: I see, well the main reason DK64 stopped working was because I removed the low level emulation of the RSP. You mean disabling the dynarec allows the game to boot or past a crash in game? I'm not 100% sure, but I've tried it with recompilation disabled and stack optimization enabled, but it also worked with recompilation enabled and stack optimization disabled, but it won't work with both for some odd reason. You can get past the crash doing those techniques, but it's still painfully slow

And yes, any game with Dynarec disabled will be too slow to be playable.

I also noticed that in the original DK64 that if you load a savestate, it will load, but a BSOD will occur a few seconds later. That's one of the problems that make the game unplayable. A lot of games have BSOD problems. There is a topic somewhere about BSOD problems.
