Hey Daedalusx64 team, this will be my Zelda OoT bug thread

Savestates

Heres the savestate directory for the savestates

Directions: Find the savestate number below then find that number in the savestate directory above

Inexact Blend Bugs


During the scene when you see Ganondorf for the final battle, he shows his triforce (gold triangles), but it appears white and should be gold (Fixable)

When you obtain a rubee from a chest or from winning a mini game, the rubee is all white and doesn't show its color. there are different color rubees representing its value (Fixable)

At the fishing pond, when you walk in the water, the sand at the bottom is supposed to be smoky as you walk through, but instead small triangles white triangles appear (Fixable)

(2-in-1 bug)
These spike enemies that are underwater are all white and should be shiny & silver. Also, the floor is supposed to be sand and not have any reflection of the water (half fixed so far on the spike enemy) (fixable)

when you go to the great fairy fountain and call out the great fairy, she heals you, and when she does these waves come around you. but the waves look white

When the floor master monster (scary hand on the floor) tries to attack you, its supposed to glow green, but it doesn't, same as the bug when link gets hurt and he never blinks red

5-3-09
. Theres a lack of shine to metal objects. especially silver objects. ex:rubees, spike enemy, swords, mirror shield
. When you target enemies, the targeting icon is missing

5-7-09
. Every time you change items on your c-buttons, the items don't show up til you leave the area or press select to go to the daedalus menu and go back to the game. this happens when you return to being young link and it shows that you still have the master sword when you don't

5-25-09
- Many items you obtain look messed up, as when you obtain an item for the first time like the deku nut for example. Even the items in shops are messed up to, and when you buy them.

I found a bug.

When you go to the Lon Lon ranch to jump the fences for the gift that the girl gives you(after you save the ranch from Ingo) there's an invisible force field that prevents you from jumping the first fence.

Can you see the force field? Maybe your not running fast enough. I know the aprt your on (Im an oot master) what rev are you using?

I dont remember what rev it was but it's one of the latest ones. Either 396 or 397.

You can't see the force field and I know I was going fast enough to jump the fence cause its one of the ones that are 2 inches off the ground that you don't have to make epona go faster for(I did anyway and it didn't work). Link can go passed it just fine its just that epona stops like I'm hitting a wall or ledge and backs up but if I keep moving forward I get passed it but I have no momentum to jump the fence.


lol it USED to be one of the latest revs anyway.

[Rev407] [Zelda OoT 1.2] I am in the forest temple and after awhile it freezes(sometimes when I open a door, exit the submenu, or just walking through the dungeon it happens). Those freezes happen when HLE is off(I'm not sure if they happen with it on.) I turned HLE off because the game crashes when i go to the submenu if I didn't enter a 2d area(like right outside the temple of time). Also it has the most annoying bug of all that has been in everyone rev and beta... the text gibberish.

The text gibberish is an easy fix. Simply make sure your "Texture Update Check" is above thirty. Choosing "every frame" gives the best performance, whereas "every ten frames" is the least taxing to game speed.

Most of the uploaded savestate files say that the file's been deleted except for the version 1.0 in your thread. can you reupload the files?

wow, thnx for telling me that my savestates have been removed. theres no way I can get them re-uploaded cuz I already deleted every savestate from my memory stick long ago
I'm disappointed how sendspace does this, those savestates were useful

It is just my or almost all my submenus broken =|
Using DaedalusX64 Alpha Revision 432(Even until 430 its still like that)

EDIT: Managed to fix with the help of NintendoBoy13 by disabling HLE, although there is a small glitch in the equipment section:
