Using psp slim here... I've been playing through the game, just started last week, every update is just so much faster, thank you... btw..

Jabu Jabu has lots of random freezes for me, also, i Freeze every time when you fight the first tentacle after getting the Boomerang, also, the room where i got the boomerang in, after load stating about 10 times i finally got passed that room, im sure it has something to do with the chest spawning in the room, dono why, but this is a very difficult dungeon because of mass freezing :P

You can try to disable HLE before starting the game, you'll loose a tad of speed but might help you to get rid off most of those freezes? Is worth the try.

After a day long bug hunt for the missing heart it has been found!
Something is wrong with the model view matrix and the heart gets rendered in the wrong place...
I forced it to render in the middle screen to see that the rest of the rendering work fine.
This will still take some time to fix but at least the reason why it didn't show up has been found :)

does the texture update speed-up only apply to the every-frame setting?

@Sterist - It will apply any time texture update it turned on. (One more rounds of speed-ups is planned for it then it will be basically free and set to always on.)

I committed a big speed up for texture "check every frame" back in 572 and later made some refinements. its pretty much free now, uses maybe 0.2FPS or so in MK64.

Try MK64 with texture check every frame, animation now runs very smooth with negligible slowdown. (works fine for OOT too)
