So it turns out in order to run anything with TN Hen on a 1000 phat PSP you have to:
1. Load TN Hen
2. Once TN Hen is loaded and the XMB appears pop out your memery card.
3. press select and restart the vsh.
4. Reinsert the memory card and then load software.

This will need to be done each time you want to load different software.

Lastly I was only able to get the modified DaedalusX64 from this page to work. The R625 release crashed and had a flickering problem with the main menu.

Why not install CFW? If you have a psp phat you should be able to use pandora and install CFW.

The flicker is due that our kernelbuttons.prx isn't compatible with newer firmwares. A while ago a friend that tried Daedalus on his unreleased HEN, reported me that issue and I thought it was a bug in his loader, but now that I see it in TN Hen is looking like Sony changed something?

Can anyone with hen try this build and let me know if home button works fine and flickers is gone?
Just make sure to delete kernelbuttons.prx from your directory and copy over both EBOOT.PBP and imposectrl.prx

You mean, you tried the Eboot and prx I posted, and the menu flickered and eventually crashed?

EDIT : I asked a person from #pspcommunity to try it on the hen and it worked for him, only thing is that daedalus crashes as reported here when exiting, I wonder if is due the way we kill the callbacks in Daedalus?

Your solution works on a PSP2000 of a friend of mine too, on my own PSP3000 homebrews run just fine.
The trick mentioned here is not necessary, this works too:

1. The first homebrew to start needs a 'VSH Restart'
2. After this every time before you exit your homebrew remove memorycard and then press exit
3. Back in the XMB put the card back in, while exiting to XMB what the HEN does is practicly what VSH RESTART does in the other trick.

yeah exactly i don't know why, but maybe i do something wrong anyway i will explain you how i put it maybe i do something wrong
1- i download your build for tn-a(HEN)
2- i check if the version doesn't have the kernelbuttons.prx
3- i copy the files that came in the rar EBOOT5.rar
4- then i paste the files that files in ms0:/PSP/GAME/Daedalusx64/pasted
(i had replaced the files that have already in that folder)
then when i run it from the XMB it gives me the boot, but after the boot my PSP gets freezed

i have tried with the skip game boot, but the same thing happen appears flashing and then gets crashed i dont know why :\
am i doing something wrong if i did it please tell me i will try it again

Your fix seems to have worked. I'm able to navigate the main menu now. Also something I haven't seen before is the lack of the OFW home menu. Before I'd press it twice (to open and close) to get to the daedalus menu. I just thought it was an interesting change.

Please dont worry about me using TN HEn on a phat. It has to do with a personal preference and I already know about CFW. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Wololo told me the memory leak was not the HEN's fault. He said that it had to do with the HBL.
Anyways, if this problem doesn't resolve itself, can we expect to see new releases of the 3k/GO version of X64?

Yes, we plan to continue to support HEN in future releases.

Um... why do are you using a hen on a psp 1000? You can use hellcat's recovery flasher to go to 5.00 m33.

Neither do I. Who use HEN when they have the ability to use CFW?
If you use prometheus you can play all the new games, and PSNLover to get access to PSN.
So Reamer's "personal preference" is like choosing win 95 when you could use xp; you lose possibilities and compatibility.

Reamer, could you tell us why you don't want to use CFW? saying its about your personal preference is not good enough. What do you lose by using CFW compared to OFW+HEN?
Well, if you don't wanna use CFW it your choice OFC and we can't force you to use it, but I bet whatever the reason is we can find a solution for it on CFW.
This emulator was enough to start using CFW for me.

well i think that the reason of why we don't use the CFW is that the tutorials aren't easy to understand and if that doesn't enough there's a big risk of brick in our psp anyway that my form of view and i think the padoras battery is needed to install a CFW so please stop of tell the people to downgrade we're noobs in the theme of the custom firmware we only could brick our psp if we try it maybe some people with more experience in the cfw could do that.
