well i think that the reason of why we don't use the CFW is that the tutorials aren't easy to understand and if that doesn't enough there's a big risk of brick in our psp anyway that my form of view and i think the padoras battery is needed to install a CFW so please stop of tell the people to downgrade we're noobs in the theme of the custom firmware we only could brick our psp if we try it maybe some people with more experience in the cfw could do that.

Your large, rather useless sentence makes my head hurt.

Anyway, are there any real differences between this "HEN" version and the regular current revision?

I believe that as of rev 631 a normal release build of Daedalus will work on hen.

Well im new here with my frist report to my fav game on n64 so id like to see about yall looking into it if you would. I have one of the frist psp and loaded the emulator just fine. but when I tried running my game (Tetrisphere for N64) it loads and flashes a little when the logo pops up.

after that frist screen only the menu is black the background shows.

2nd: I cant view any of the words the down arrow wouldnt work.

any way this could be fixed?

Reset your settings to default and that should cure most random crashes, if the same crash occurs after resetting settings, post a savestate before the crashing point, and we can take a look at it.

Tetrisphere is one of the few games that only works in Slim models due that it uses more memory than most N64 games.
I haven't tried it in a good while, but last time it looked perfect. It might be a regression or you are trying it on a non-slim model.

HEy guys, i just have a few questions. Some of the games i run on this emulator are slowish at times. i realize its probably just the game but does anybody know of a fix? I'm running this on TN HEN B. It works pretty much flawless for Super Mario 64, except for the sound being choppy at times. but games like Megaman 64 nd Orcarina of time are pretty slow. And also when i press home to quit the emulator it stays at the please wait screen for awhile then crashes. How do i fix this? thanks in advance.

there's no fix for the speed it's normal that the games like zelda works slowly in some parts but especially if the sound is on but the speed will be increased in futures rev and the crash at the exit happens to me always i don't even can put the sleep mode because my psp crashes but maybe this bugs will be fixed in the next rev

Until the programming is complete (if ever) the games will remain at that consistent speed.

Is it possible to add button support argo end crash upon sleep/quit?

also I've heard of some graphics fixes for ocarina of time any links or suggestions would be great.

never expected the psp to be capable of any emulation (technically virtualization, pretty sure the architectures are similar).

Both MIPS R4K Series based so yeah similar architectures. The PSP is kinda in reverse though as to what handles what.

Sleep issues are mostly due to the Media Engine, crash on exit I hadn't heard of but I PSPLink so I'm running it in a shell. The has been some graphics work Wally has been doing, but it has been committed to the main branch of the code yet. I expect several good size changes within the next few weeks.

Update to 632, you should be able to suspend as long as you don't use async audio.
Also the crash on exit only happens in HEN, I'm sure is a bug on the HEN, I heard ppl having that issue in other brews.
