 Post subject: Problem saving in OoT (U) (1.0)

well i have a problem in the latest release 718 in my psp slim when i save the game in oot the led doesn't flash it just get back to the game, but when i try to load the save game there's no advance in the game ??? ???
can anyone tell me if it's a problem of the gui or just a bug :S i remember this happen to in the daedalus rev13 but i remember in the rev 713 the game was fine. T.T

thank but when i use savestates i down't know i feel like i'm cheating and the save it's around 4 or 5 times more slow than the normal save game anyway i'll keep usin the savestates for the moment and thanks bdacanay for the help and the compilation of daedalus :D

I did several changes to both sram (what OOT uses for saving) and flashram in the last rev, as a matter of fact I used OOT as a test case and seemed okay, I'll take a look when I get a chance and fix it ASAP.

Untill it's fixed I've been living off savestates, just don't put your PSP in sleep mode while playing OOT. It causes Link to glitch out or disapear and crash if you take a step.

Saving should be working fine in 719.
Sleep issue is known, what I do is savestate -> go back to romselector -> sleep.

I just had a crash happen with R719 after saving in OoT Masters Quest. Maybe the fix is only with plain OoT?

That's interesting, was it a random crash or always happens?
If it was random( maybe caused by something else?) I don't think it can be fixed unless I can reproduce it.

Note : I never tried MQ, so not sure how different is it from the normal versions.

The game crashed after my first save attempt, however has not crashed on saving since. I've been making a save state before every save (after the yes button has been selected) just in case it happens again so maybe it'll help with stability.

This issue was reported to me by DrCam a while ago, about 3 months ago, that's one of the reasons I simplified the event of sram saving to make it easier to spot any potential issue, the problem is that I never was able to reproduce the crash, if you find a way to reproduce it let me know and I'll check it out.

PS: The changes I did, in the worst case scenery is that it won't save, but no crash. The crash you saw is something that always has happened (randomly?) in the past.

Just mentioning that the game has crashed again very shortly after saving. Unfortunately I forgot to make a savestate before it crashed, because I started to get into the game instead of testing.

Edit: had another crash, but this one was a blue screen as soon as I pressed a to save. I'd have a save state this time but so far I'd be saving state just after I press a (as it would usually crash just before the start screen would fall and fade.)
