Hi, first sorry for my bad English, I'm a Belgian. I try to run Daedalus beta 3 on my PSP 3000, my firmware is 6.37 and I still have a black screen. I tried to download it in many other sites and it's always the same. I had a nother version of Daedalus before and it worked normally, I launch it with HBL. Can you help me please?

Try to look for a "signed" version. Then you can launch it without HBL. It should run with HBL, but we can't test every possibility with each release. (It's like we're developing for PC and while everyone has the same hardware and OS their all using different drivers...)

Hey for all the people out there with a psp 3000 and the official 6.35 firmware.. Don't get discouraged. You guys should update that the psp 3000 is very easily hackable and will run Daudalus very easily. If you have a memory stick and a transfer cable just download this file http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SW0NARX0 <---- NOT MINE, but I didn't find any viruses. Put that file into your memorystick/psp/game folder and start up your psp. On your psp go to games/memory stick and you should see it there. It will load up cfw 6.35 b4. Once you turn off your psp, you system will revert to the ofw though. But all you have to do is reload that file.

And my problem was that when I downloaded Daudalus and without thinking just put it in my games folder, when it came up with corrupted I didn't think I could get it to work, but after closer examination I found that the actual emulater was in a folder like psp/game/daedalus/daedalus so I needed to delete the first daedalus folder and it worked.

Well I hope I contributed a little.. I love whoever made this program ;D

"I love whoever made this program" - That would have been Strmnnrmn, we're just continuing his original work.

He's actually still around. We talk online once in a while he just likes to remain completely private. I stay public for the purpose of getting feedback or I'd just work on it on my own and you'd never have even heard of me or probably several other team members.

The new revision makes Zelda Ocarina of Time almost lag-free, it's beautiful! But now it has random freezing problems. Are there specific settings to turn on/off to fix this?

Try toggling with high level emulation, memory access optimization, and dynamic loop optimization. Likely one of these is the culprit and if you find the right combination the freezing will stop.

I have a problem with my Daedalus Roms (or my Daedalus itself)...
I have version Beta 3 (release)
Built Feb 25 2011

I have 3 roms downloaded:

1. Super Mario 64
2. Zelda- Ocarina of Time
3. = - Majora's Mask

I have no problems with my #1 (which I got from a friend)...
but my #'s 2 & 3 constantly crash (the ones I downloaded myself)...
At least that's what I thing their doing:

# two, I can play for about 5 to 10 minutes until the picture freezes and the sound quits.
After that happens, my PSP crashes (No exact place or action makes it freeze... varies)...

# three does the same thing when I try to navigate to the "choose saved data" screen after the beginning "start" screen...

Image

Other games I try to download don't even open... well... they don't open past the black screen that shows loading progress that appears before the game opens...

Would you please help me with these problems?

If you need more information to find an answer, please ask.

I should tell you there's a newer version of DaedalusX64. As far as the crashing it's common in any game.
See Q03 and Q10 in the DaedalusX64 FAQ:

I've recently upgraded to v. 707 and that seems to have helped with the crashing except for when pausing the game which seems to induce crashing... that is easy to live with though... thank you

Did you mean 747? 707 would be out of date.
