Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've been on this site. I haven't paid much attention to the activity of the emulator. But I'm back and this topic is for me to share with you guys some settings and bugs, problems, etc I find while testing some roms. I don't have many, I don't play a lot anymore. But here you go.

2/21/12

Pokemon Stadium (U)
Boots without savestate (win)
Runs smoothly without audio, runs slowly with audio
HLE enabled
Using Dpad controls because it's easier for me to use
Frameskip at auto 1
Limit frameskip at full
Check frames every frame

Glover (U)
Boots perfectly without audio, will not boot with audio
HLE disabled it makes the game run slower
Using normal controls
Frameskip at auto 1
Limit frameskip at full
Check frames every frame

Yoshi's Story (U)
Boots now (another win)
HLE enabled, haven't tried it without HLE
Using normal controls
Frameskip at auto 2
Limit Frameskip at full
Check frames every frame

These are the games I've been testing more recently, I have Rev 747. Which is now outdated.

dude are you high or somethin?when you put frameskip auto2 the map gets all messed up and also
and if you put limit framrate full speed it also makes the game not good so dont post any results unless you tried them .

All limit framerate does is limit the game to full speed so it runs at its normal intended speed. Also i use it and see no problem with it. And if you could define (Not so good) it would help.

limit framerate as RuffBad stated just makes the game normal speed (in this case it either keeps it at 60fps or even 30fps depending on the game your playing, and it will not go over that number of fps.) Now frameskip at auto2 is a matter of opinion. If you are fine with a bit of jerkyness for more fps then go ahead and turn it on, and if you are ok with slow, less fps, but smooth gameplay then leave it off.

I have tried these, if I didn't I wouldn't post it. These are just the settings that I find that work for me. You guys may have a different preference to your settings but I'm just posting my settings. I'd appreciate it if you didn't judge my settings (or game choice)

I don't think they are judging your settings in general, but for example in Yoshi you can not use frame skip (happens in any graphics plugin I tried ex Rice), since the game uses frame buffer effects to draw the back ground. And thus frame skipping makes the game unplayable as loveyy mentioned.

Hmm I'll try Yoshi without frameskip,i I was playing after I posted this and Yoshi Story froze on me and maybe it's because of the frameskip.
Anyway I've all noticed some bugs to report (no pictures or savestates because I'm not posting this on a computer, but my ipod)

Pokemon Stadium (U)
Some textures show up during attacks such as Blizzard and stay there
The icons for the Trainer and Pokemon still don't show up (kinda expected though)

Banjo-Kazooie (U)
When grabbing a Jiggy, banjo's shorts and mid chest turn black
The enemy's that wander Grunty's Lair have glitched colors
Grunty's eyes will glitch colors
