Hi, I'm new to these forums and I've been having issues with the Animal Forest menu. For starters, when I open the menu it lags. Then, when the menu is open, there is about a fourth of the menu blacked out in the top left portion of the screen. I use the N64oid emulator on an Android phone. I would appreciate any help

Well Animal Forest isn't the greatest rom to emulate. It lags, it's glitchy, and it crashes. No settings could make this game playable. The only emulator (that I know of) that can play Animal Forest is Project64.

It hardly does any for me. It rarely lags(only to menu). It's never crashed, and..it's not glitchy :)

Hmm well then maybe some emulators have made it playable. It's menu is strange, not much goes on in the menu compared to in game, you'd think it'd run smoothly but nope. I'd much rather play Animal Crossing for the GC. Same game, different system.

I think it may be an emulator issue. The same thing happens with Ocarina of Time. The concept of a mobile Animal Crossing is mind-boggling. Yes, the GC one is stable, but Animal Forest can be mobile :)

I'd love for it to be stable because it's such a fun game, but Daedalus doesn't like Animal Forest. I've messed around with settings, save states, everything and I can't make it any faster or any better. It really sucks

Have you tried Project64? I gave it a try briefly the other day and it ran quite smoothly.

Yeah I've tried it with PJ64, it works great but for some reason Daedalus can't run it that well

Peculiar. On that note, my save games on N64oid have been rendered incapable.

You mean speed wise or stability wise?
If the first.. >.>

@@Po_MD: Daedalus is a completely different N64 emulator than N64oid, you should contact its author for support. (Since I'm sure you paid for it..and the author has to give you support for any issue you have with "his" software.)

The reason I've posted here is because this seems to be a prominent and ongoing source for all things n64-emulator related(Daedalus-wise, of course.) and the issue seems to be a universal one, but it is still unsolved.
