As we know the PS Vita is haked in PSP Mode. I have two questions about this:
1) Can we use the whole Vita-Power for Homebrew or switch the Vita in PSP-Mode down to PSP-Speed? (333 Mhz) 2) If we have more power available: Is it possible to cancel the Daedalus PSP-Project and go on for development on PS Vita? I think on PS Vita we can get fullspeed with sound.
Edit: For now I have no PS Vita, because there is no real reason to buy it and I´m not ready to pay so much money (at least 320€ for konsole, memorystick, one game.)

no. can't use all the power of the vita for the hack. when the vita is in psp mode it runs the speed of a psp, so it runs stuff the same as a regular psp does. Here's the site of the guy who made the hack. He explains in this post about how it works. Daedalus would run awesome if we could speed the psp mode to full vita speed. Maybe in the future.

About quitting this projcet. No please, if you member's are trying to quit, well don't. This project is teaching about the emu. And it's really fun sending bugs testing, i fell that it's amazing. But you can still do Daedalusx64 for PSP and for ps vita (same as psp power). So you could still work on the project for psp. That is a good idea.

First off all THERE is not a PSV hack.... Second Daedalus it's made for the PSP not for the PSV, but if you want you can turn it for the PSV because the License it's free (correct me if I'm wrong) Third Daedalus(the newer versions) can't run in the PSV because as far I know Wololo(He made the HBL and VHBL) Test it but doesn't work......well work but a older version....I think one of the first ones??

That I said there is not a PSV Hack......This is just a "Signed Homebrew" or a "Exploit" that allow (with help of a PSV game(not DEMO)) you run Homebrews......NOT pirate games (Iso, Cso).....(I don't know how to explain better) and it's called HBL....well for the PSV it's VHBL.....
PD: I hope I have clarified your doubts

i didn t understand when psvita have a cfw(maybe 5 years xd,or not) psp will die, because psvita includes psp i love daedalus because it is the only most complete portable n64 emulator, and i like n64 psvita will offer the best hw for an emulator, and the work will be easier, because you don t need to find a way to save space,it can load every roms and textures and all.we will have full speed and full graphics,no more glitch ps3 doesn t have an n64,even if it works great.but i hope psvita, that is portable, will enjoy the powerful daedalus =)

First..... may be the PsVita never be hacked(or yes??).... WHY?!? Because when Wololo (The dev that do HBL and VHBL) said the name of the Game(not DEMO) that you need to buy from PSN (Motor Storm Artic Edged *Japanese version*).... PSN begin to erase the game of all part of the WORLD (USA, UK, JP, etc) (That mean they watching us O.O) obiusly they will upload the game again but patched.... (It seems that they found other "Hello World" exploit but it's not sure) Second..... Daedalusx64 it's for PSP not PSVITA but you can port to the Vita if you want.... (If you want to know more, like Corn says see Q11 here http://forums.daedalusx64.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3639

psp vita sucks annd its way to sensitive so u wud all be wasting ur money as for the emulator on the vita ,yes emulation speeds are the same but if someone able to make the ability for vita work congrats, and btw those who actually bought the pspvita, some are actuallly complaining about how easy it is to break, psp 1000 2000 and 3000 are about 20 times more durable, and even they are easily broken..so yea

the vita takes a sledge hammer over 5 times before fully breaking your durability argument is invalid

Did you watch the video? Pretty much everyone I've talked to that owns a vita says it's pretty durable. Maybe you should prove your point first since you claimed it's easily breakable first.
